On 1 July, 2 climbers slipped past security in Manhattan and went up.
Not the elevator. The spire. 443 meters above the street, Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus, the daredevil couple from the Netflix documentary Skywalkers, stood on top of the Empire State Building, unfurled a banner, and got engaged. New York arrested them on the way down. The clip crossed millions of views before their court date.
Their banner read:

People do not climb for the view
